About the 100th day of School
About the 100th day of School
A fun week for elementary schools around the world is to celebrate the 100th day of school. The celebration begins on the actual 100th day of school. This day will be different for each school depending on their school calendar.
Small children enjoy the One Hundred Celebration. All remember when 100 seemed like such a BIG number! Some students bring in small collections of 100 objects to share with the class. Students practice counting, sorting and classifying the objects. Required elementary math skills are reinforced - learning how to count to 100 - by ones, by twos, by fives, and by tens.
